| It's been half a year since I last wrote my blog. I have had a few important things to report. I presented my first paper in Cairns, Australia this past November. Another one is coming up in Feb next year. All will be in gambling. Again, I am very happy to get the project done |

| We have a dog which we took from America. It is 12 years old. Last week has been a time of pains for us as Skinny is suffering from some sort of breast cancer. I took her to operation. Things go well. But we do expect she might develop other problems next year. I would surely miss her then. I guess it is good to learn how much you love someone until the day you don't see her any more. |

| I have just finished my lessons. This is a course in the history of the Catholic Church. I am so happy that i can teach this course. The best student is the Bible reader who helps me with the reading. Yesterday I bought a computer, which I have no idea how to use it. This is a new laptop from compac. I am typing this in the college computer. During the lessons, we are very happy with our discussion of the Catholic Church history. |

| It's been sometimes since I last wrote my diary. A lot of things happen between now and then. I cut down on most of my teaching load. And I have a few days off during the holidays. I am writing a research project on the psychology of gambling. I probably would leave for Australia in early March. I have a friend who is an expert in this field who would help me. I am particularly interested in the cognitive structure of gamblers. Tentatively, the project is on the development of faulty thinking patterns such as superstitutions and denial among gamblers. Too technical. I am sorry. They invite me to go back to HKICE to teach "History of the Catholic Church." This is a course I like and enjoy. Nothing will be added, anyway. I don't think the students like the course. They took it as it is compulsory. I didn't do much during the holidays either. Stayed at home most of the time. Do email me. |

| It has been sometime since i last wrote my dairy. I will teach more courses in the trade union classes. one new class is the advanced level course on forensic psychology. it will be offered in March next year. It will meet on Sat night. |
